The Management Trainee Program build a pipeline of the future leaders and professional experts. The 3-year program is a cross-functional rotation based program which focus on the understanding and application of front-line leaders in business operation, commercial, field service, or project management, etc. As one of the world’s leading elevator company, OTIS offers diversified developing opportunities in a short time frame to accelerate your grow up as well as your long-term career development in OTIS.

How is program structured

·         One 1-year assignment in Tianjin as an introduction to you chosen discipline within the business and the OTIS Culture & Value, to get an overview of OTIS China’s operations and work from a strategic level.

·         One 2-year rotation nationwide, more roles and assignments will accelerate your development via rotation, to gain valuable insight and widen your network and keep understanding of all functions.

What support and competency will you receive

·         Mentoring and coaching from experienced high levels

·         Professional development and qualifications via various tailored curriculum and on-job practices to develop your career, particularly in:

a)       Performance oriented practice: cross-functional rotation provides you more practice opportunities, and you will be Involved in functional operations with different roles, and you have to take responsibility/ ownership for the relevant performance indicators which cascaded from the higher level.

b)       Project Management: primarily you will be project team member to learn more knowledge about PM and make clear the project implementing process, then to try leading a small sized project as a leader.

c)       Behaviors: to follow OTIS Absolutes and practice OTIS behaviors everywhere as a model.

d)       Leadership: to enhance leadership skills that make a strong leader in the workplace step by step to support your long-term career.

What do we look for in our MT trainees

·         Recent master’s graduate with a degree in any discipline and a strong academic track record

·         Not more than 1 years of professional work experience (excluding internships)

·         Fluency in English (mandatory)

·         Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

·         Maturity, a high level of cultural awareness, and willingness to work nationally

·         Resilience and drive in the face of rapid change

·         Commitment to personal growth and career development; a strong desire to learn; and success in team environments.
